How long does migrating from WP Engine take?

Most sites move within a day. We clone your site to staging, test it and schedule the switch with you. Big stores can take a little longer, with a clear timeline up front. You keep using WP Engine until the moment we go live.

Will my site go down during the move?

No. Your live site stays online the whole time. We build and test a full copy on staging, then switch DNS. We watch the site closely for the first hours after go-live.

Is the migration really free?

Yes. A free, hands-on migration comes with every plan. Our team does the work, not a self-serve tool. There’s no setup fee, and the 60-day risk-free trial covers you.

Do you charge visit overages like WP Engine?

No. There are no overage fees. Plans list monthly visits to size your plan. If your traffic stays above your plan for 60 days, we move you up to the plan that fits and tell you before the change.

What about my domain, email and DNS?

We plan the DNS change with you and keep your email working, since email usually lives with a separate provider. Point DNS yourself with our steps, or give us access and we handle the switch.
